Career counselor helps you to find the right path of career . Counselor helps you to discover your strengths, qualities,skills in you . Good counselor makes many people life on the right and fruitful path.
A career counsellor or analyst is somebody whose career is to create right career paths.So he/ she is the one who keeps themselves updated with different fields and options to get into it.Career counselling should always be done by an expert career counsellor as they will keep every aspect in mind while determining your career path rather than just telling you to do what most of the people around are doing.Indian mentality is that when you have an elder( Grand father/ uncles) at home why do you need to pay for a wise advice,So,to be clear and crisp our elders and uncles etc either they are professors,teachers,retired personnel's etc.must be well versed in there fields of work but they are not aware of all the fields and careers that have come up or where already there in demand but because nobody knew had low supply of candidates to join them.They only know what there relatives or close friend kids are doing.
Choosing the right path to earn a living is one of the foremost important decision we make in our life. The quality of this decision by far defines our life as a whole, cause if you are happy working, you are growing, and growth denotes more prosperity. Also on the other hand the happier you are at work the more content you are adding happiness in your personal lives too!
In simple words your professional and personal lives are interlinked and define your entire life. This being such an important decision, a perfect mentoring becomes indispensable. Only an adequately qualified expert would be able to guide right assessing multiple dimensions to establish a convergence and zero down on the perfect career path!
With an infinite array of career options available and each personality being so unique, an expert who understands both the science and the art of establishing a right career path becomes the quintessence!
A career counselor would ve analysed the pros and cons in every aspect that are pertaining to each client. Each client and each student s capabilities are different. Each individual has different aspirations. And a lot of students today, are influenced with what they see around than what they want to achieve and hence are lot more confused. They would like to get into a path which most of their known people are following and are successful themselves. They least anticipate the risks and struggles involved in achieving the same. The counselor is the right person to contact. He/she would give proepr timely guidance to overcome hurdles and also discuss the best possible career path and clusters that are best suited.
So that you do not realise it after your graduation in science that management would have been a better option for you and then disasters like Bsc and LLB happens! And end up being in a call center or an unwanted job with unhappy career growth which will not grow in the direction of how it should have been. It s like you stand nowhere!
